Genuine faith, according to the Bible, is "more valuable than gold that perishes" (1 Peter 1:7). Such confidence will undoubtedly be "put to the test." You can expect challenges and persecution as well as blessings in your Christian journey. As a result, we'll look at some of the benefits of faith to urge you to hang on to and grow your faith.
1. Faith is the means of salvation. (2 Thessalonians 2:8,9) Anyone who trusts in Him has eternal life. (John 3:16), he does not need to be judged because he has passed from death to life. (See John 5:24.) Faith will sustain the righteous. (1 Corinthians 1:17)
2. Prayers are answered with faith. "And you will receive anything you ask for in prayer, if you truly believe." (Matthew 21:22, NIV) Faith is a cornerstone to our material supply since God urges us to pray for our daily bread (Matthew 6:11).
3. Faith enables us to enjoy all of the benefits of salvation (Ephesians 2:8,9). This includes healing, prosperity, peace, love, and joy (1 Peter 1:8), release from devils and the curse, sanctification of the mind and emotions (soul salvation), and any other benefit promised to us by God's word.
4. Faith is a spiritual energy that allows us to be effective in our mission for Christ. (Matthew 17:19,20; Mark 11:23). Faith is a crucial component of ministry success. It provides you with what you require for your ministry, and by passing it on to others through your life and ministry of God's Word, you enable others to benefit from the above-mentioned advantages of God's grace.
5. Faith, in particular, is a critical component of a successful healing and deliverance ministry. Jesus Christ, who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8, Galatians 2:20), lives in the Christian and wishes to show the power of salvation to men in a way that they can see and experience via the Christian. In this way, our evangelism for the Kingdom of God will be more than rhetoric; it will be action (1 Corinthians 4:20).
