“and I will bring my people Israel back from exile.“They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.” - Amos 9:14
Our life is full of mess, and many of us wanted or expected a restoration process in our life. As women, we might have faced or facing lots of failures in relationship with God, in family, business and finances. So whatever the enemy tried to ruin in our life, God is more than enough to bring in the restoration to gain back everything we have lost. That is the Love of the father over us.
One thing to remember is restoration is not a single click task. It takes time to get restored. In the processing time, God expects us to look over Him and trust His timing in our life.
You could be facing distress, anxiety and because if that you could have lost the joy which you had before. But God tells you today that He is the author and finisher of things and He is in control of everything around us. He will bring us the restoration and joy for sure in our life. Scripture says in Isaiah 61:7 says, “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”
Another version of the same scripture says “. . . You shall have a twofold RECOMPENSE. . . .” When you see the meaning of the term recompose in the dictionary, it says it is the same word that we get worker’s compensation from. Do you know what worker’s compensation is for? If you get injured on the job, they pay you worker’s compensation.
God is saying, “You’re working for Me. You got hurt in the service of the Lord. And I’m going to give you worker’s compensation. I’m going to give you double for your trouble.” Glory to God! You are nowhere unreachable for God. He is ready to bring you back what you have lost.
When you read the chapters of Job it seems he has lost everything. Whatever he gained, whatever was overflowing in his life was ruined by the enemy. But God worked in his situation to bring back the joy, health and children’s. God gave him in double portion. Only thing job did is he waited upon the Lord and trusted his restoration process. God did everything correctly on His timing. There is no delay in His timing. Trust him to receive your restoration. Amen.
